Kingdom Woman - Kingdom Women are Joyfully Confident

Dr. Kim Denu | Wesmont College | California

Question: Are you dressed for success today? Are you clothed in strength and dignity, empowered by the Spirit? Are you wearing faith or fear? Today, I want to talk about (Proverbs 31:25b) “…she can laugh at the days to come!” and what it means to have Joyful Confidence. But before I do, I want to highlight the context of this chapter and verse.

This is my story: David, Daniely, Jesson
Too often churches ask us to check our doubts at the door, to leave our most important questions behind. But the reality is that we all have deep questions we have wrestled with throughout life.
At The District Church we believe that when we wrestle with our biggest questions, it actually deepens our faith. One of the most beautiful lines in the Bible is in Mark 9, when the man says to Jesus, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” His honesty and desire for faith is beautiful.
Over the next couple of weeks, people in our own community at The District Church will be sharing their stories. Stories of how an important question they have wrestled with has challenged and strengthened their faith. We look forward to having you join us!
